Originally from Detroit, Fines became inspired by the electronic dance music scene and immediately began creating flyers for underground events, which quickly led to collaborations with legendary record labels and other major players.

In New York, Fines has has success as Psyop's art director, having designed the distinctive logo as well as directing spots for Aeroplan, Colorado Lotto, Marshalls, Nickelodeon UK. He has also worked with DEMO, been a Visiting Professor of Communications Design at the Pratt Institute, and had his work featured in dozens of books and magazines --- most recently, Michael Perry's highly regarded "PULLED: A Catalog of Screen Printing."
